Itinerary

Day 1. Pickup and transfer to Akagera National park.

Upon your arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be welcomed by Rwanda Safari guide and he will transfer you to Akagera National park After the simple city tour of what the cleanest city in Africa has to offer. During the city tour, you will visit the local Markets, Genocide Memorials.

After the relaxed feel of the Kigali city , you will start on the drive to connect to Akagera National park which is the only wildlife park in  Rwanda that hosts the big five .The Drive takes 2-3 hours in first class road .  Check in at the lodge , relax in the afternoon.

Dinner and overnight at Akagera Game Lodge

Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise on Lake Ihema.

After breakfast, head on a morning game drive that will be circuit type of drive to enable you have a great feel of the entire Akagera National park in search for the big five animals that are known to be found in the park.

After returning to the lodge for lunch, head for the boat cruise on Lake Ihema where  you can spot hippos, elephants and buffaloes.

Return to the lodge for Dinner and overnight

Day 3: Transfer back to Kigali.

You will have breakfast at your leisure before leaving the lodge for Kigali city, depending on the flight back home, the Safari guide will transfer you to the airport for the flight back home from Akagera National park .

Lunch will be served at the request of the travelers.
