Tour Overview
Your 8 days and (7 nights) in Uganda is a great tour experience starting and ending at Entebbe Airport. The safari begins with a boat ride to Ngamba Chimpanzee Santuary, where you will dine and enjoy a serene overnight on a beautiful forested island of Lake Victoria – the largest lake in Africa. Next is a safari to Lake Mburo National Park offering you great opportunities for game viewing and bird watching. You will be greatly rewarded when you get to the legendary Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Park famous for half the entire population of the remaining Mountain Gorillas worldwide. The sight of the giant gorillas is awe—inspiring and you will have a great story to tell and remember when you return to your lovely country. You will then proceed to one of the premium National Parks of Uganda – Queen Elizabeth NP offering you amazing memories. Chances of viewing most of the big game (lions, elephants, hippos and buffaloes) in a single game drive are high in this park as it is one of the best wildlife sanctuaries worldwide. There are also varieties of other wildlife including chimps, antelopes, crocodiles, bush pigs, water bucks and over 600 bird species on the checklist of the park.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Tour guide welcomes you at the airport; overnight on Ngamba Island:
Meet our tour guide/driver at Entebbe airport (EBB) who will take you to Uganda Wildlife Education Centre (UWEC) for briefing. A less than an hour boat ride on the calm waters of Lake Victoria gets you to Ngamba Island. Overnight at Ngamba Island Camp. Meal plan: (FB).
Day 2: Chimps Trekking, Birding tours in Ngamba Chimpanzee Sanctuary:
After enjoying your breakfast you will go for a forest walk. Let our experienced tour guide enrich you with detailed accounts of the closest relatives to man. You will have an opportunity to closely observe and play with the friendly chimps. This tour destination also offers great birding opportunities as well as relaxing moments on the shores of Lake Victoria. Enjoy another dinner and overnight at Ngamba Island Camp. Meal plan: (FB).
Day 3: Kampala – Lake Mburo Wildlife Safari, Birding Tours:
Early in the morning after breakfast, depart by road to Lake Mburo National Park. You will stop at the Equator to take photographs and proceed to Lake Mburo National Park. On arrival you will go for a game drive where you will be able to see big herds of zebra, impalas, elands and other savanna animals. Bird viewing opportunities are excellent – for birders. You will enjoy your dinner and overnight at Mantana tented camp or Rwonyo rest camp. Meal Plan: (FB).
Day 4: Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, cultural tour:
Have an early morning breakfastand drive south west Uganda to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will have photographs at the equator, lunch en-route in Mbarara and reach Bwindi in the late afternoon. A community walk or cultural tour is an optional addition to your safari experience. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Forest Camp (luxury) or Buhoma community Bandas (budget). Meal Plan: Full Board (FB).
Day 5: Gorilla Trekking:
After breakfast you will transfer to the park headquarters for the briefing by the park guides, before you set off for the trek. The trek has no fixed duration time as it depends on the last night of where the apes slept from however it may be 2-9 hours depending on the movement of the giant primates. The activity is tiresome, it involves walking along steep hilly tracks however encountering these great relatives of man erases all the poor memories/ hardships you went through in trying to find them. They are awesome! Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Forest Camp (luxury) or Buhoma community Bandas (budget). Meal Plan: Full Board (FB).
Day 6: Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park: featuring en-route game and bird viewing, cultural tours and nature appreciation adventure:
You will begin travelling to Queen Elizabeth National Park after an early morning breakfast. This trip features en-route scenic views of undulating hills covered with green vegetation and community homes and farmlands. After checking in, having your lunch and a siesta, you will go for an afternoon game drive for breathtaking views of abundant and varied wildlife of this gifted park of Uganda. Among the varieties of fauna expected on this safari are; lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, waterbucks, bush pigs and varieties of birds. Dine and have a wonderful overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge (Luxury) or Ihamba Safari Lodge (Budget). Meal plan: (FB)
Day 7: Game drives and birding tours in Queen Elizabeth Park, a boat cruise:
Have your breakfast at leisure before starting a fascinating early morning game viewing tour in a 4×4 safari vehicle. This will enable you to find an opportunity to search for some of the rare animals and birds that you might have missed to see in the previous game drive. Another vital Queen Elizabeth NP safari activity is an afternoon launch cruise on the Kazinga Channel. This legendary tour adventure offers impressive views of exclusive beautiful birds, hippos, crocodiles and lots of other wildlife reaching for water at the banks of the channel. Day 8: Travel to Kampala or Entebbe and either get a flight back home or to your next safari destination:
