The 6 days chimpanzee and cultural trip will give you a chance to watch the best wildlife species in Rwanda in two destinations that is Akagera national park and Nyungwe forest national park and later join the local community in the cultural experience. These people will entertain you in different ways using their traditional dances, songs, poems and others. Also, they will teach you about their social, political and economic aspects of their life like weaving, cattle rearing, milking and others.

Places to visit
Kigali
Located in a region of rolling hills, with series of valleys and ridges joined by steep slopes, Kigali is the capital and largest city in the Republic of Rwanda. It is ranked as the most beautiful city on the African continent encompassing well-constructed and designed roads and buildings like hotels, churches, Kigali Convention Center, Kigali City Tower and many others. During your drive through the beautiful city, you have a stop at several places for great sightings and among these include the Kigali genocide monarchy where you will evidence the happenings of the 1994 genocide where a lot of people lost their lives, friends and family members. You will watch the video footages as the survivors narrates the incident in pain of losing their people and also see the pictures of the murdered and survived people.
Akagera national park
Situated in the eastern part of Rwanda, Akagera national park is the biggest and only wildlife destination in the country. The park is a home to a number of wildlife species including the five big African game – lion, elephant, leopard, African buffalo and rhino. Other animals in the park include giraffes, zebras, hippos and crocodiles that can be seen during the fascinating boat cruise on Lake Ihema. As you plan for your trip in the great national park, get ready to take part in different activities like game drives, bird watching, community tours and others.
Nyungwe forest national park
It is located in the western region of Rwanda and protects one of the world’s most beautiful and pristine rain forests – Nyungwe forest. The park encompasses a number of mountains crossing through different destinations like Rwenzori mountains, western Rwanda and Burundi to the shores of Lake Tanganyika. While at the park, you will take part in different activities but mainly chimpanzee trekking experience. Others include bird watching, nature walking, canopy walk, cultural tours and others.
