Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Kibale Forest national Park
Upon arrival at Entebbe international Airport , you will be welcomed by the Rwanda Safaris Guide and you will start on the adventure to explore the Pearl of Africa and the land of thousand hills on 11 Days with 7 Days Uganda Safari and 4 Days Rwanda Safari. you will drive to Kibale Forest National Park with stop over in Fortportal city for lunch if time allows and later proceed to the National Park. The Driving time is estimated to be between 6- 7 hours including stop overs.
Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking & Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
You will wake up early morning and head to Kibale forest national Park headquarter for the chimpanzee briefing about the chimpanzee tracking rules and regulations to be observed during your search for the primates in the wilderness of Kibale the destination that is known for over 13 primates and various bird species . You will enter into the jungle to search for the chimpanzees and once found you will stay with them for one hour and return to the lodge for lunch and later proceed to drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park the best destination for wildlife watching in Uganda known for the tree climbing lions in the wilderness of Uganda!
You will arrive in the later evening , if head to the lodge for relaxation as you await for the next day game drive and boat cruise.

You will setoff from the property at 6:30am and head for the morning game drive which will reward you with the best chance to see the wildlife animals and they include African elephant, African buffalo, leopard, spotted hyena, lions Ugandan kob, hippopotamus, Topi, waterbuck, warthog, giant forest hog, later return to the lodge for breakfast , relax and during the boat cruise you will spot the Nile crocodile and other bird species on the water banks.
After the boat you will have a simple game drive and sun Downer as you head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Game drive and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
You will leave the lodge at 7:00am after breakfast, you will start to drive to ishasha Sector the best destination for spotting tree climbing lions in Queen Elizabeth National Park, you will enjoy the game drive in the sector , later proceed for lunch in the lodge in Ishasha Sector and later proceed to connect to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the southern sector of the park since you have gorilla habituation experience.
You will arrive at the lodge in the late evening and you will be checked in at the property for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Southern Sector
After Morning breakfast , you will leave the property and head to the park headquarter for briefing about the mountain gorilla trekking rules and regulations which are similar to those of the Chimpanzees in Kibale forest national Park and Nyungwe forest National Park. Later after the registration and briefing , you will head into the jungle to search for the gorillas in the wilderness of Bwindi ( Nkuringo sector or Rushaga Sector ) and this activity will last for about 3-4 hours and once found you will watch them for 1 hour, return back to the lodge for the hot meal .
If interested in the afternoon take a community walk to explore the local communities and cultural experience at an extra cost!

Day 6: Gorilla Habituation Experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
You will very early morning breakfast at the lodge , you will set off from the lodge and drive to the park headquarter for the same process as the previous day , you will head for the gorilla habituation experience with only 4paxs and if your more than that number , it means that at the time of booking we have to apply for acceptance . This day will be visiting the wild Mountain Gorillas that are in the process of being opened up for gorilla trekking, follow the rules and the instructions from your park ranger for safety of your life during the gorilla habituation. Later you will return to the lodge for Lunch and later drive to connect to Kisoro Town , where you will be spending your night awaiting for the next day golden monkey's watching experiences.
Day 7: Golden Monkey Tracking in Mgahinga National Park
You will have morning breakfast , drive to Mgahinga National Park for the magical watching of the golden monkey which are only found in the Virunga Massif that are shared between Uganda , Rwanda and Democratic republic of Congo in Virunga National Park. The Golden Monkey tracking is not tiresome as the gorilla trekking, you will watch the primates for 1 hour and after return to the lodge for lunch and later proceed to cross the border via Cyanika to Rwanda the land of thousand hills.
After the border crossing , you will proceed to drive to Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda where you will be spending 3 nights feeling the Weather and the primates of Volcanoes!
Day 8: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
After Morning breakfast at the lodge , you will head to the park headquarter for the registration and briefing about the gorilla trekking rules and regulations in the wilderness of Volcanoes National Park that has similar vegetation cover like Mgahinga National Park in Uganda.
You will drive to the starting point for your gorilla trekking experience in Volcanoes which can last as long as 1 hour to 4 hours depending on the gorilla family that has been allocated you to you . Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park is not complicated like the southern sector of Bwindi! You will watch the gorillas for one hour and later return to the lodge for lunch, relax at the lodge .
Note Optional Activity of the visit to the Gorilla guardian Village to learn more about the Rwandan Cultural practices , Dances and pottery, story telling are available at an extra 25$.
You will spend the entire day relaxing at the property in the morning hours and later in the Afternoon you will visit the Twin lakes, & Ellen DeGeneres Campus for donations and learning more about the work of Dian Fossey , Gorilla Conservation and later return to the lodge .
After Morning breakfast at the lodge , you will start on the drive to connect to Kigali city which is located 3 hours journey considering the speed limit , you will head for the kigali city tour which includes the Visiting the Kandt House, Natural History Museum, Presidential Museum, Kigali Genocide Memorial Site, Craft Centers, Hotel des mille collines (Hotel Rwanda), Kimironko Market, Mount Kigali, Kigali Convention Center.
You will have lunch at Hotel Mille Collines to learn more about this place! Later on you will transfer to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
You will have relaxed morning , incase you missed out something on the previous day during the City tour , you may use the morning hours before the flight to handle that and later you will be dropped at the Airport for flight back home.
