Our brand new 2013 Toyota 7X Toyota Land Cruiser features the following additions and equipment not commonly found in lesser-equipped competitors’ vehicles:
Reduced body weight for lower fuel consumption, higher driving stability and comfort, increased lifetime of tires, suspension system, breaks. The 7X seating configuration offers space for a driver, specialized guide, and six additional travelers in window seats. A mobile fridge, dual A/C with individual air vents, inverter and power outlets have been installed to further elevate comfort while driving. The vehicle is equipped with a driver cabin hatch and hydraulic pop-up roof, ensuring clear view of the various wildlife to be expected on our journeys.
The large sliding windows for passengers will surely allow travelers get close to East Africa’s wildlife. Further add-ons include a reinforced body, an accessory rack fitted with tools, first aid kit, and fire extinguisher, reinforced bull bar, heavy duty headlamp and tail lamp guards, side steps, roof hand railing with rear rack, two spare tires, and anti-rust protective coating all around.
The vehicle is based on a 2013 HZJ 79 (right hand drive) and measures a total length of 5.75 m and a maximal width of 1.77 m. An electric winch (9500 lb torque max), nitro gas long travel shock absorbers, coil spring assembly, and improved suspension system, extended windscreen, and radiator protection screens allow safe transport and – in case of demanding terrain – all tools needed to move forward.
