Bisate Lodge

Enjoy the wilderness area by choosing Bisate lodge as your accommodation facility during your safari at Volcanoes national park. The lodge is located within a natural amphitheater of an eroded volcanic cone and it comprises of 6 luxurious suites/rooms.

These beautiful rooms comprise of different amenities like en suite private bathrooms with showers, hot and cold water and clean flashing toilets. Each room has a got a veranda which provide a spending view of the surrounding features like beautiful rain forests, mountain peaks and different wildlife species such as birds and small animals.

During your stay at the lodge, you will take part in various park experiences including a face to face encounter of the endangered mountain gorillas in their natural habitats. Volcanoes national park has 10 habituated gorilla family groups that are open for tourism purposes.

Other activities at the park include golden monkey tracking, bird watching, forest walks, visiting the twin lakes of Ruhondo and Burera, a cultural experience at Gorilla Guardian village and also visiting the tombs of the primatologist – Dian Fossey.
