Itinerary

Day 1. Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

You will be picked up from the hotel in Kigali Rwanda , Start with kigali city tour exploring the key tourists attractions for City tour that includes the Mount Kigali, The Natural History Museum,The Presidential Museum, Kigali Convention Center, Kigali Genocide Memorial Site,Craft Centers, Kimironko Market, Nyamata church, Hotel des mille colline, Lake Nyarutarama, head for lunch at the hotel in Kigali before the transfer to Volcanoes National Park which is 3 hours drive from Kigali , Upon arrival at the lodge , you will be checked in at the Lodges.

Day 2. Gorilla Trekking in Rwanda

After an early breakfast and briefing from the guides, set off for the gorilla tracking in Volcanoes National Park. The activity starts at 8.00 am. You need to carry packed lunch, drinking water, rain jacket, and jungle boots while the rangers will provide you with a walking stick ( Hired at an extra 5$) at the park headquarter. The time taken to find the gorillas varies according to the movements of these marvelous primates. An encounter with an earth-shaking 350-pound silverback or a baby gorilla is a very exciting and unforgettable experience in Rwanda !

Once you come face to face with the gorillas, you will take one hour and return to the starting point where you will find your safari guide , go for lunch and proceed to transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park the second home for the Mountain Gorillas in Uganda that is not located within the Virunga Massif.

Day 3. Gorilla Habituation experience in Bwindi

You will have breakfast at the lodge , you will head to the park headquarter for the briefing about the gorilla habituation rules and regulations to guide you while your in the wilderness of Bwindi searching for the gorillas. , Note habituation leaves by 6:45am so we have to be there on time. we shall spend 4 hours with the gorilla, so packed lunch is a must on the trek, return from trekking by 7:00am when the gorillas are making their nests for the overnight. Return to our lodge for the relaxation and later enjoy your dinner and overnight as above.

Day 4: Second Gorilla Habituation

You will return to the Park headquarter for the the second visit the gorillas in the wilderness of Bwindi impenetrable national Park, you will be visiting the mountain gorillas this time on trekking adventure,you will visit a different gorilla group compared to the one you trekked yesterday,  (A different gorilla family will be tracked during the habituation)  return to the lodge late evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Flight to Kasese from Kisoro

You will have morning breakfast and drive to kisoro for the connecting domestic flight to Kasese which is the closed Airstrip to Kibale forest national Park where you will be picked and transferred to the Lodge for afternoon relaxation , later you will visit the crater lakes , view point in Kibale.

Day 6: Chimpanzee Habituation

You will have early morning breakfast and transfer to the park headquarter for the briefing about the chimpanzee habituation rules and regulations , it usually starts at 5:30am in the morning and its lasting for half day following the chimps as they do their daily routine activities, return to the lodge for relaxation and afternoon visit the local community for the nature walk. Dinner and overnight as Above.

Day 7: Second Chimpanzee Habituation

You will set off for another chimpanzee Habituation experience and you will be visiting another family from the one you explored yesterday . so you will have fun and to learn more about the chimpanzees in Kibale Forest national Park. After the trek, we shall proceed back to the hotel a for dinner and overnight as above.

Day 8. Transfer to Entebbe for the flight back home

After breakfast, the safari guide will transfer you to kasese airstrip for the flight connecting to Entebbe international Airport where you will be welcomed by Safari guide and take you for Entebbe city tour, zoo and other places awaiting for the flight time from entebbe to back home.
