Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Mgahinga gorilla national park
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by Rwanda Safaris guide who will take you through the trip plan and then drive you to Mgahinga gorilla national park. You will go through the rolling hills with a view of the 5 volcanoes of Rwanda, i suggest on the way, you can go check on the Ellen campus by Dianne Fossey in Kinigi. Later proceed to cross the border to Uganda Via Cyanika Border and continue to Kisoro town for Dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking & transfer to volcanoes
You will wake up ready for breakfast and after head to the park, well prepared with your packed lunch, cameras, water, rain jackets, long pair of trouser and hiking boots and other gear, you will assemble for briefing time at 8:00 am, find the rangers that will inform you about gorilla tracking the great adventure and experience! The time taken to encounter these peaceful primates is impulsive for it may take1-5 hours. Nevertheless, on encounter, one may be forced to say, it is stunning!!!! After the adventure certificate rewards will be successful given out every Gorilla trekker.
After the gorilla trekking , you will return to the lodge for lunch before proceeding to cross the border back to Rwanda heading to Volcanoes National park which is also located within the virunga Massif like Mgahinga National park. If time time allows you will visit the twin lakes , check in at the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Golden monkey trekking & Gorilla Guardian Village
After an early morning breakfast with packed lunch , you will head back to the Volcanoes National Park headquarter for the briefing about the Golden Monkey trekking rules and regulations. These dos and donts are the same like those of Uganda. After enter into the jungle to search for the apes with experienced Ranger guides that have the campus of the forest in their heads. After you will return for lunch at the lodge before heading to the visit to the Gorilla Guardian Village where you will explore more about the Rwandese Cultural like the marriage , way of life and resolution of conflicts. Later transfer back to the lodge .
Dinner and Overnight accommodation
Day 4: City tour and transfer to the airport.
You will have breakfast at the lodge and check out heading to Kigali for the memorable visit to the genocide memorial , crafts centers, Gisozi genocide memorial museum. After lunch, you will visit the fire house which is the area where the plane that was carrying president Habyarimana was brought down, that late sparked the famous 1994 Rwanda genocide. You will then visit the Belgium museum and learn more about Rwanda’s culture.
You will then be transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
